Such a beautiful, hard-working, resilient, caring, and life-loving woman – one I’ve been proud to know since childhood. Although I didn’t get too many chances in later years, I loved being around her in her home, chatting, laughing, and generally being in awe of such a woman. The strength she possessed was second only to the aura of love that surrounded everyone she loved. I will miss and cherish her always. Love you, mama Mary… take your place among the angels.
