Elizabeth (Betty) Anne Drislane Passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family after a short period of declining health. Despite facing several medical challenges in her final weeks, Betty met her daily life with strength and grace. She will be remembered and cherished by her close family and friends for her kindness, resilience and the love she shared throughout her long life.
Betty was born October 15, 1933 in Briarcliff Manor, NY to Gilbert and Irene Drislane. She is survived by her younger brother Cornelius J. Drislane (Neil), his wife Carol Drislane of Cornwall NY, and their three daughters and their families, Anne and Tom Quigley, Fairfax Station VA and their four children, Patricia Drislane Cranmer, Concord MA, and Beth Drislane, Cornwall NY and her daughter Allison Dubick.
Betty attended Briarcliff Manor High School then graduated from Becker Junior College of Business Administration and Secretarial Science, Worcester MA. She worked for 45 years in New York City as an executive assistant for Procter & Gamble, GE, and Pfizer specializing in trademark law. During her professional years she excelled and enjoyed a career that enabled her to travel the world on her own. Betty was social and found friends in the Business and Professional Women’s Club where she was a member for most of her career. Betty held positions at the BPW New York chapter as secretary, and was appointed president in 1991. Betty was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, and enjoyed being a part of the Scarsdale NY community.
Betty will be remembered for her good humor and kind friendship with so many people. She was a large part of her close family’s holidays and vacations. She will be missed for her appreciation of family, friends and a sunny day in warm weather next to a lake or seashore.
Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville on Thursday between the hours of 4 to 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Scarsdale on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 10am.

July 26, 2026 at 1:34 amAs a long time resident of Garth Road, Betty was known to many neighbors on the block and was an avid card player and participated in exercise classes at the Garth Senior Center with her friends. As a long time parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima parish, she was an active volunteer and her deep faith and trust in God helped her cope with her health issues. She valued her long time friendship with the former Pastor, Msgr. Hugh McManus and kept in regular contact with him after his own retirement. Condolences to her family and friends
