“Amy Herrion Shaw, aged 53, of Eastchester New York, passed away on January 27th, 2026. She was born on May 28th, 1972 to her loving parents Jack and Carole Herrion. Amy attended Fordham University and NYU School of Nursing before becoming a dedicated and caring nurse.
For many years, Amy worked as a nurse at NYU Langone and subsequently as a nurse at her Alma Mater Fordham. She was beloved by the students and dedicated her time to caring for them at their home away from home.
Amy was a devoted wife and mother, a valued member of the PTA, where she volunteered for her children’s school events and community gatherings. As a volunteer for Relay for Life, Amy raised money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. She loved to run, spend time outdoors and travel to new places with her family.
She is survived by her husband Andrew, her children Jack and Caroline, her brother John, her mother Carole and her countless friends and family who loved her. Her kindness and thoughtfulness will be remembered by all who knew her.
Visitation will be on January 29th and 30th from 5pm-8pm at Fred H McGrath & Son Funeral home. Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church at 9:30am on January 31st. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you donate to the American Cancer Society.”
