Kathleen Anne Fredrick of both Bronxville, NY, and Hulett’s Landing, NY, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 after a brief illness. Kathleen was born on January 10, 1938 in New York, NY. She was predeceased by her parents William J. and Kathleen (nee Barry) Fredrick, her young brother Billy and her sisterMarguerite Mary Fredrick. Kathleen is survived by many cousins and friends.Kathleen attended High School at St. Nicholas of Tolentine in Fordham, NY and graduated from the College of New Rochelle with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She then taught High School English for several years before working for Singer Sewing Machine Co. and also freelancing for several magazines, including House Beautiful, as a writer and editor. Kathleen was an avid reader and also enjoyed traveling with her sister, Marguerite, and many friends throughout Europe, Canada, and the United States. Kathleen always enjoyed many summer days at her family Lake George cottage, where she first visited as a very young child. After residing in New York City and Mount Vernon much of her life, Kathleen and her sister moved to Bronxville, NYwhere they made their home for the past seven years. Always interested in continuing her education after retirement, Kathleen was a Board Member,Newsletter Editor and Publicity Chair person for LIRIC and also attended enrichment classes at the Bronxville Library, and Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated January 19, 2024 at 10:45 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville, New York.

Kathleen and I were fellow Tolentians and many years later she become a very dear friend.
Kathleen and Marguerite are now reunited in the glory of heaven.
We friends still here on earth will now sadly miss Kathleen as well very, very much.
