Emanuel, Margaret A. July 24, 1936 - September 26, 2019

Margaret A. (nee Makela) Emanuel, 83, of Yonkers, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Beloved wife of John Emanuel. Survived by her three children (and their spouses): Diane Sammons (David), Linda O’Meara, John A. Emanuel (Jennifer Cherry); and her 8 precious grandchildren, Austin, Emmy and Avery Sammons, Lauren, JP and Christopher O’Meara, and Everly and John Emanuel. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Jay O’Meara, her brothers Victor Makela and Robert Mudry. She is also survived by her sister, Marion Carroll. Peggy was a loving wife, nurturing mother, adoring grandmother and loyal friend, always selfless with her love and time to those around her. She was a loyal Yankee fan, spectacular cook and patriotic American. Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, 2 to 6 pm, Sunday, September 29.
