DiNota, Antonio September 15, 1940 - June 27, 2026

Antonio DiNota, of Yonkers, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on September 15, 1940, in Roccasecca, Italy, to Carmine and Concetta DiNota, Antonio immigrated to the United States in 1961 in pursuit of the American dream. In 1959, he married the love of his life, Loretta Pallone of Roccasecca, Italy, beginning a loving marriage that would span 67 years. Through determination, hard work, and perseverance, Antonio built a life he was deeply proud of, providing for his family and creating opportunities for future generations while never losing his love for his Italian heritage.

Antonio was a proud and lifelong member of Cement Masons Local 780, where he earned the respect of his fellow craftsmen through his skill, integrity, and unwavering work ethic.

Above all else, Antonio’s greatest joy was his family. He loved tending to his beautiful garden in Yonkers and cherished his second home in Pompano Beach, Florida, where he enjoyed the sunshine and created countless happy memories with family and friends. He was happiest when welcoming loved ones into his home, always ready to prepare a fresh espresso and share stories, laughter, and conversation around the kitchen table.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Loretta DiNota of Yonkers, New York; his sons, Anthony DiNota and his wife, Shannon, and Carlo DiNota and his wife, Stephanie; his cherished grandchildren, Simone, Ghita, Vivian, Brooke, and Nico; and his sister, Maria, of Roccasecca, Italy.

Antonio will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his remarkable work ethic, his generous spirit, and the quiet pride he took in providing for those he loved. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the family he cherished, and the example he set through a life of perseverance, loyalty, and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Antonio’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

To honor Antonio’s life, family and friends will gather on Monday 4-8pm at Fred H. McGrath & Son, 20 Cedar Street, Bronxville NY, (914) 337-6770; Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10:30am at St. John the Baptist in Yonkers followed by entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery.
