Jessie Sirabella of New Rochelle, NY passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 103. Since 1994 she has been a resident of Sunrise at Crestwood where she received loving care.
She was born in the Bronx in 1920 to Frank and Irene D’Annunzio. Jessie attended PS 21 and 103 in the Bronx and graduated from Central Commercial High School in NYC. After graduation, she worked as a secretary in Manhattan until marrying Richard Sirabella in 1948. She returned to full-time work in the mid-1960s as a Teaching Assistant for children with special needs.
Jessie was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard in 1990. She is survived by her daughters Barbara (Dante) Ferraro and Irene (Tom) Koehler, her sister Jo Borrazzo, sister-in-law Rita Devino, granddaughters Kristi and Tracey, great-grandchildren Hannah, Elijah, and Isaiah, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 3:30 – 7:30 PM at McGrath and Son, 20 Cedar Street, Bronxville, NY. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 9:45 AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville, NY, followed by an internment at Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains NY.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Jessie’s name.
