Deirdre A. Poole – January 19, 1960 – August 21, 2023
Deirdre Poole, 63, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2023, after battling a long illness. Born in Dublin, Ireland, she immigrated to New York aboard the SS America with her family. Ambitious and a hard worker, she graduated from the New York Institute of Technology and became a Certified Public Accountant. She later worked at Ernst & Young before successfully running her own boutique accounting firm in New York City for nearly two decades. Deirdre was strong, independent, and generous, always trying to support herself and the people around her. She is survived by her husband, Donald Ercole, daughter Katharine, and five siblings.
