    Dear Ann, Bob and Beth,

I am so sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. You all were such great neighbors of ours when we were neighbors on McKinley and Hobart Street in Bronxville.

Bob always had a big smile whenever I saw him. You did too. He was so proud of Bob and Beth , but always asked about Charlie and Liza. He was just such a good man and a pleasure.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.

Peace and love from you old neighbors.

    Sincerely,

    Clyde

Jeannie and I are blessed to call Bobby O and Anne such good friends. Bob was the definition of a great friend, good man, good husband, good father, good Catholic and loyal Gael. When my mom died Bob went way out of his way to come to the Jersey shore. When his mom passed I was honored to make her funeral. Bob and Anne are very special people and their children and family should know how deeply loved they are. Rest in peace my dear friend and fellow Gael. You made a real difference in people’s lives , not everyone can say that. We will miss you deeply. Pat and Jeannie

Our condolences go out to Ann, their children, and extended family. Bob was one of my closest friends. We met at Power in the Fall of ’64. Together we gave our all on the hardwood and those memories I will never forget. Having kept in touch with Bob over the years what became quite evident to me was his dedication to Ann and their children. I always admired Bob’s sincere interest in others (always had time for you), and the investments he made in the Lord’s work. Let’s all do our best to emulate Bobby’s wonderful traits.

I am so sad to learn of Bob’s passing. He was the best Santa Claus at the yearly Sacred Heart of Jesus Christmas party with the Sisters of Life. Bob, still dressed as Santa, and Ann (Mrs. Claus) would give my son and I a ride home to our apt. on the Upper West Side after the party. We had a lot of fun in the car, as Bob would still be in his red velvet suit. My son and I moved to Minnesota in 2019, and Bob continued to check in, always asking about Angelo and writing that he prayed for us daily. The last email I received from him was on Christmas Day.

Ann, I am so sorry for your loss. What a good good man. My deepest condolences are with you and your family.
