Kathleen T. McHale, Bronxville, NY, formerly of Yorkville in NYC, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her bedside. Kathleen was the high school sweetheart and wife of pre-deceased Eugene McHale, also of Yorkville, NYC. She was the loving mother of Michael (Marcia), Kathi (Kevin), Eugene, and Kerri. Much loved grandmother (Grandy) to Callan (Cat), Kaitlyn (Max), Kyle, Brian, Conor and Matthew. She had just become a great grandmother to beautiful Emerson Rae.
Kathleen retired from Anker Management of Yonkers, NY, where she worked as an administrator and real estate managing agent for over 25 years. She ran a one-woman office her entire tenure working for Leonard Anker.
Kathleen was an accomplished singer, dancer, and seamstress. She was an avid paddle ball player, excellent cook and loved to watch tennis. She loved the sound of the ocean and the feel of the sand between her toes. Long Beach always held a special place in her heart, where every summer was spent at the shore with her children. Her answer was always “I’m in!”” when invited to do anything at all. She was fun, spontaneous and the ultimate trooper in every facet of her life.
Kathleen is pre-deceased by her older sister Patricia, younger sister Maureen, and her parents William (NYFD) and Catherine Doyle.
Kathleen was 8 days from her 88th birthday, is beloved by both her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

August 23, 2024 at 5:24 pmMy thoughts and prayers are with the family. I had the privilege to know Kay McHale since I was a child. Kerri and I were best friends and Kay always opened up her home to me. She was hospitable, creative, smart, energetic, health and fitness oriented and had an obvious love for her family! Kay will be missed. Rest in peace, dear lady.
