McEnerney – Eleanor N., of Crestwood, NY and formerly of Flushing, NY on Nov. 30, 2024 at age 92. Beloved Wife of 60 years to the late Eugene, Loving Mother of Thomas (Noelle), Patrick (Marjorie) and Eileen (Karl) Bannerman. Devoted Grandmother of Emilie, Douglas, Anne, Katherine, Neil and Niamh, and Great Grandmother of Annabelle and Jack. Eleanor was pre-deceased by her parents Joseph and Natalie Douksza, brother John and sister Wanda Patterson. As wife, homemaker, volunteer and former Executive Secretary to the President of General Electric, she was loving and supportive to her husband, children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Eleanor was a good friend loved by many. She had many lifelong friendships and continued to make new friends until her last days. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville,between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial Annunciation Church, Crestwood, on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 10am. Interment at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Annunciation-OLF RC Church, Crestwood; St John Vianney RC Church, Flushing; or Jansen Hospice.

And giving. During my dad’s funeral, she stayed behind at Don and Paul’s house to help prepare for visitors.
