McCue, Eileen L. June 16, 1936 - September 2, 2026

Eileen McCue, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.

Eileen was predeceased by her beloved  husband, Joseph McCue and her brother John O’Connor (Joan).

She is survived by her children, Veronica (Brian), Edward (Joan), and Mary Ellen; her sister, Dorothy (Chris); and her grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael), Michael (Allison), Elizabeth, Lauren, and Rebecca (Grant). She was a devoted great-grandmother to Michael and Logan.

Eileen was also a beloved aunt to Courtney and John (Amanda), Gregory (Barbara), Douglas (Ann), and Donna Zaratin (Giuliano), and a cherished grand-aunt to Cooper and Patrick.

Eileen found great joy in giving back to her community through her years of volunteering with the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She was especially proud of knitting hundreds of hats for veterans in need. Her generosity and thoughtfulness were reflected in this simple but meaningful act of service, bringing warmth and comfort to those who had served their country.

Above all, Eileen will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her generosity, and the quiet, countless ways she cared for those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Eileen’s memory to the New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation.
