McCarthy, Patricia February 18, 1952 - June 18, 2019

Patricia (Pat) McCarthy passed away on June 18, 2019 after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Pat was born on February 18, 1952 in NYC to Mario and Sheila (McCusker) Favata. Pat is survived by her adoring husband Bill and loving son Patrick. Pat is also survived by four siblings, Robert, Kathy, Michael and Mary and eight nephews, Matthew, Daniel, Robert, Michael, Andrew, Lawrence, Connor and Colin. Pat was a devoted Special Education teacher for almost 25 years at Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES. She retired upon the birth of her son, Patrick. Pat was very proud when Patrick graduated Summa Cum Laude in May, 2018 from Iona College. Pat was a loving wife and a devoted mother. She was a humble person who cared deeply for her family and friends. Pat will be greatly missed but her family and friends are consoled knowing that she is at rest in eternal peace.
