Josephine J. Fiorentino, of Eastchester and formerly of Yonkers, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2017, at the age of 87. Josephine was born May 8, 1929 in Yonkers, NY to the late Joseph and Domenica Brunetto. She married Joseph A. Fiorentino on May 31, 1954 at Mt. Carmel Church in Mount Vernon. Her family owned Brunetto Cheese, Co., which her father started. Josephine worked there and that is where she met her beloved husband of 61 years. Later in life she enjoyed working in the Dobbs Ferry Library. She was also an avid reader of 3 newspapers a day. Josephine is predeceased by her loving husband Joseph and her sister Adele. Devoted mother to Helene, Joseph, Jr. (Phillipa), Sandra Sconzo (Robert) and Mark (Regina). She is survived by her sister Sara Brunetto and brother Salvatore Brunetto. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 9 to 10:30am Thursday February 16, 2017, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph’s Church, Bronxville at 10:45am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Josephine’s name to the charity of your choice.
