James J. “Jim” Burns, of Pelham, formerly of Bronxville, passed away suddenly, on Sept. 22, 2013. Loving father of Katherine (Robert) Tesoro, Allison, Kelsey and Jake Burns. Beloved son of Barbara Burke and the late James Burns. Brother of Peter Burns and Lisa Emig. Jim was an investment trader but his passions were boating and youth lacrosse. Jim helped establish the Bronxville Youth Lacrosse Association where he was still actively involved. Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Joseph’s Church, Bronxville, on Friday Sept. 27 at 10 am.
