Jill Cadre obituary

On Thursday, April 7, 2022, Jill Cadre, devoted and loving mother to Julianna and Jack, died at the age of 44.

Jill was born in New York City and she attended The Ursuline School (‘95) and Vassar College (‘99) before receiving her law degree from Cardozo School of Law (‘02). Jill started her own law firm, The Cadre Law Firm, and was a respected member of the NJ and NY bars.  Jill is survived by her parents, Roosevelt and Zenaida Cadre, her sister, Gianni Dimos and her nephew and nieces, Paul, Alexandra, and Ava Dimos.  She had a boundless energy and love of life and will be missed by all that knew her.

There will be a viewing at McGrath Funeral Home on Monday evening from 4 PM to 8 PM in Bronxville and a funeral mass at Saint Joseph’s Church in Bronxville on Tuesday at 9:45 AM.

    I am reaching out because I just heard of my friend’s passing. My heart is broken. Jill was beautiful, a good friend, smart and talented. She was taking too soon. My prayers are with her family at this time. I was blessed to know her.

    Jill, you were my sister, my best friend, my boss and my whole life. I cannot put into words how much I will miss you. You always gave the best advice. You always took care of everyone else. You loved with your whole heart and always thought of others first. The way you loved my children was the same way that you loved Julianna and Jackson. I am so thankful to have spent all of the time together that we did. You forever changed my life. You were and are my angel. I love you Jill.

    My condolences to all Jill’s family. She was my first attorney when I purchased my first and current home in 2019. It was a pleasure to work with Jill and Victoria. They were both amazing and I had greatest experience working with them both. It hurts me to know she had passed away. I’m very saddened by this terrible news and RIP Jill.

    Broken-hearted for Zenaida and her family upon hearing of this devastating news last night, There really are no words, really. I can only hope that her family and faith can help to sustain her and Roosevelt in the days to come. <3
