Joan  Duffy Aitala

Joan Aitala, Longtime resident of the Bronx and Bronxville, passed peacefully on January 21, 2024.Joan was born January 15, 1925 in New York City, the only child of the late Agnes Duffy and Stephen J. Duffy. She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Carmelo Aitala. No calling hours. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Joseph’s Church, Bronxville, NY at 9:45 AM on Friday, January 26, 2024. Internment at Gate of Heaven, Hawthorne, NY immediately following the mass.
