Michael F. Woods of Bronxville, NY on June 19, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Helen, loving father of Teresa W. (Shaun) Daley, Stephen (Cindy) and Michael (Sherry), devoted grandfather of 5. Dear brother of Sr. Mary Denis (Imelda), Connie Fonseca and the late Joan and Patricia. Also survived by numerous loving family members and friends. After graduating from Regis HS he went on to graduate from Fordham University where he also had a successful basketball career. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and then went on to graduate from New York Law School. He was the former NYS Deputy Commissioner of Commerce and retired as the Vice President of the NY Power Authority. Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son funeral home, Bronxville between the hours of 5 to 8pm Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial St. Josephs Church, Bronxville on Wednesday at 10:45am.
