Peter J. Rowan, age 92 passed away peacefully on Friday August 14th. A 42-year resident of Bronxville. He was owner of H&S Edible products, a leading breadcrumb manufacturer in Mt.Vernon. He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Betty O’Ravitz Rowan, his son Peter, daughter Mari (Rowan) Sweeney, her husband Robert, and his beautiful grandchildren—Ryan, Paige and Kiersten. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Peter was quite proud of earning his Bachelor of Science degree from New York University. He was a skilled oil and water color painter and marksman. He will be buried in Valhalla with his parents and siblings – Rita, Vera, Ann, and Thomas.
