Gale Kimberly Rogers (Kim) of Tuckahoe, NY passed away peacefully on Oct. 25, 2022. Born December 22, 1942 in Lawrence, PA to the late June and Jay Calvert.
Kim lived in many different places early on but settled in NY where she lovingly raised her three children. When the kids were grown she eventually moved to NC and traveled all over the world. She loved meeting new people, being in nature, adored all creatures great and small and marveled at the natural beauty around her. Kim loved volunteering at The Carl Sandburg Home in Flat Rock, NC, where she tended to the goats. She truly enjoyed getting to know all people and her beautiful smile was welcoming to everyone she met.
Kim is survived by her brother Jerry Calvert. Kim leaves behind her three children, Tracey Gerety, Scott Colombo and Brett Colombo and his wife Niki. She was a Loving Grandma to her five grand children: Jack, Matthew and Kelly Gerety and Sofia and Charles Colombo. She also leaves behind three gran’ dogs Riley, Oliver and Star.
A memorial service will be held for Family in December.
There is no obligation but if anyone wants to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in memory of Gail they can do so here.

December 24, 2022 at 11:37 amTo Kim’s family. Both Peggy and I have been trying to find Kim’s whereabouts for years since we last saw her in NC, and it is only today I have found her. I am so sorry for your loss, and feel it with you. I have many beautiful memories of hiking through the woods with our dogs in both NY and NC, drinking wine together and sharing our lives, in both the good and bad times. I am so sad that I never got a chance to say goodbye.
