Andrew Henry Orr, born March 24, 1982 to Dr. George and Mary Orr in the Bronx, NY passed away suddenly on May 13, 2024.
Andrew was raised in New Rochelle, NY, and graduated from New Rochelle High School class of 2000. He went on to study Communications at Manhattanville, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
Andrew was a skilled craftsman who worked with pride and dedication to help fabricate and design cemetery monuments, a proud member of Teamsters Local 282, and a beloved employee at DeNigris Monuments.
A gentle soul, Andrew, or Andy as he was known to many, found joy in cooking for family and friends alike, and delighted in entertaining others. He had a wonderful spirit and a wicked sense of humor, was a lover of movies and music, with a deep appreciation for both Star Wars and Star Trek, the Muppets, and the New York Jets.
Missed deeply by family, friends, and co-workers, Andrew is predeceased by his father, Dr. George Orr. He is survived by his mother, Mary Orr, sister Jane Orr, brother Daniel Orr and his sister-in-law Skye

May 17, 2024 at 8:40 pmHaving worked with Andy for many years through high school and college I look back at so many fond memories filled with laughter and smiles. Andy had that way about him, he could make you laugh when times were tuff. When we were stressed at work he would make a joke and even the boss would laugh. He could take the tension out of things that way. His passion for movies were unmatched and could qoute them with photographic precision. He had an effortless way about him and touched everyone who he met. He was truly a great person who valued friends, family and my heart and prayers are with all of you . Love you brother. –May the wind always be at your back, the sun upon your face and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

May 18, 2024 at 8:12 amI knew Andy since middle school. He was always a kind soul. Never a bad thing to be said about him by anyone. Easy going guy. Saddened to hear of his passing. When my best friend and classmate passed away Andy sent his condolences and that stood out because we didn’t have much of a relationship and I always appreciated that. My condolences to the family and close friends of Andy. When NR loses someone we all feel it
