My deepest condolences are shared to you all in this truly painful moment.
Ben will be dearly missed by me. He was a solid inspiration to his fellow classmates and an admired student at Murray Hill Academy.
I will always remember Ben’s patient, easy way of being around all of us. Additionally, his open way of sharing his wisdom.
My life was inspired by the depth of this young man and, to me, Ben was a gift I will treasure for life.
We are so sorry for this terrible loss. May your beautiful memories of Benjamin bring your comfort to you and the family during this difficult time. With deepest sympathy & prayers to you all.

Our deep condolences go out to your family with the loss of your son Ben. Amy and I were stunned this past week when learning of Ben’s passing and we can’t imagine the pain your family is feeling as a result of this unimaginable loss. Amy and I were able to see Ben numerous times this past year when visiting our son at George Mason, but mostly knew Ben through our conversations with our son who not only was a good friend of Ben’s but also admired Ben as a successful upper classman at GMU. We know as a result of our conversations with our son that Ben was admired by his fellow students, and will be greatly missed by those many close friends that he spent time with the past several years. Again, we are so sorry for your family’s loss and you are in our prayers at this difficult time.
Thank you George, Amy and Ashton for your prayers, love and support. Ashton has not only been a great friend to Ben in life, but has also been a true brother. He has been an enormous source of comfort and help to us during this difficult time and has become like a son to us. Thank you all for your kindness.
I really enjoyed having Ben as a student. I know he was very well liked by his peers. This is such a tragic loss – a young man of terrific potential who will be missed by many. My most heartfelt sympathy to his family.
My deepest sympathy to your family at the loss of Ben. He was a delight to have as an intern in my Congressional office. Ben was polite, willing to take on any task and anxious to learn. I pray you and your family will be comforted by knowing that Ben made a difference to the people he touched and his sweet memories will live on. May God bless and keep you during this most difficult time.
Thank you Congressman Black for sharing with us your thoughts and feelings for our Ben. Working for you in Congress was one of the highlights of his life. Since he was four years old, his dream was to work in Congress because he wanted to make a positive difference in people’s lives. He took immense pleasure and pride in giving us a personal behind the scenes tour of the Capital Building.
Thank you for the opportunity you gave him to live out his dream and for your prayers and support.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your dear son. I hope you find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28,29. There Jesus promised a resurrection of our loved ones who have passed away. This beautiful hope can sustain us during times of grief. Please accept my condolences.
