William V. O’Connor of Crestwood, NY and Naples, FL, passed away on February 28, 2020. Beloved husband of Anne O’Connor. Loving father of Deirdre and Robert (Katherine). Devoted grandfather of William, John and Margaret. Dear brother of John and the late Kathleen and Msgr. Robert O’Connor.
Bill was a proud graduate of Regis High School, Fordham University and Fordham University School of Law. He started work at the Guardian Life Insurance Company while in law school and spent his entire career there, retiring in 1995. Bill was an avid reader and a lifelong fan of the NY Giants. He enjoyed tennis, golf, travel and his time on the beach, especially in Cape Cod, Aruba and Naples. Bill’s true passion, however, was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He will always be loved and never be forgotten.
Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 5 pm Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday.
