Hugh V. Murtagh of Crestwood, on March 5, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Virginia. Dear brother of Thomas J. Murtagh and the late Martin, John Murtagh and Mary Finn. Loving brother in law of Mary Murtagh, Anne Murtagh Edward Finn and Elaine Frey. Devoted uncle to 13 nieces and nephews. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was a proud graduate of Cathedral Prep, Fordham University and Fordham Law School. Mr. Murtagh had a long and distinguished career as a trial attorney for Consolidated Edison Co. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial, Annunciation Church, Crestwood, on Thursday March 9, 2017 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
