It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Mitrakos (Yonkers, NY) who passed away on April 20, 2026, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, born on January 27, 1935, in Greece.
He was loved and cherished by many people, his beloved wife of 61 years, Garyfalia, his daughter Maria and son-in-law Kevin Hayes, his daughter Effie and son-in-law Edward Slattery, his daughter Christina and son-in-law Stephane Tonnelat, and grandchildren James, Katherine, Alexandra, Margaud, and Tristan, his brother Alex and his sister-in-law Jean, his brother George, and his sister Georgette, cousin Nikos Mavrogiannis and his wife Lisa, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and their families.
He is pre-deceased by parents Sotirios and Marigo, brother Peter and sisters-in-law Petroula and Marie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in New Rochelle, NY.
