Mitchell, RoseMarie October 22, 1927 - October 17, 2020

RoseMarie Mitchell, age 92, passed away on  October 17, 2020.  She was born in Astoria Queens on October 22, 1927.  She was the daughter of Nick and Margaret (Franco) Pezzente. On April 25th  1953 she married William J Mitchell, Sr., blessed with three sons.  She is survived by her sons William junior and wife Pam, Nicholas and his wife Penny and Peter and his wife Kathy and her sister Christina Azzoloni, Also surviving are  3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Rosemary attended St. John’s School of Nursing and worked 35 years in the Veterans Administration.  Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, between the hours of 2 to 4 and 9 pm, Tuesday.  Mass of Christian Burial, St. Bartholomew’s Church, Yonkers, on Wednesday, October 21, at 10 am.  Interment to follow at Holy Mt. Cemetery, Eastchester, NY.  In Lieu of flowers please make contributions, on RoseMarie’s name,  to the James J. Peters VA Medical Center,  130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468

Mass: 10 am, Wednesday, October 21, 2020, St. Bartholomew's Church, Yonkers
