Harold P. Meschi, Beloved husband of Mary (nee Donoghue), passed away on September 1, 2013. Harold was predeceased by his parents Harold and Theresa Meschi, of Eastchester and was the son-in-law of the late Denis and Alicia Donoghue. He is survived by a loving family that includes his brother Robert (Patricia), of Smithtown, NY and his sister Jeanne Clevenger (Charles), of Carlisle, PA. Harold is also survived by five nieces and nephews and 12 grandnieces and grandnephews all of whom adored their Uncle Harold; and by many friends of long-standing. Harold was a graduate of Brooklyn Prep and Fordham University’s College of Business, where he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the Accounting Honor Society. He enjoyed a long and successful career as a professional accountant, financial officer and business consultant. His many affiliations included, Touche Ross; Klein, Hinds & Fink; Grant Thornton; and Weiskopf & Pickworth where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Harold was a member of Lincoln Zephyr Club and the Antique Automobile Club of America, and was a past president and treasurer of the Club’s Westchester Region. Harold was an active supporter of the Brooklyn Prep Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Harold was a devoted son, husband, son-in-law, brother and uncle who will be sorely missed. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted man who did much to help others. The family invites friends to join them at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, 20 Cedar St., Bronxville, on Thursday, September 5, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Friday, September 6, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church (Route 22 and Carmen Road) in Scarsdale.
