Dolly McGrath passed away at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 @ 83. Beloved wife of the late Arthur McGrath, loving mother of Cathleen, Peggy, Timothy (Gayle), the late Patricia and close family member Mark Daria. Grandmother of Brian Kruger (Jen) & Meaghan McGrath. Great-Grandmother of Ryan, Jude and Mae. She leaves behind her loving sister Patricia Larkin (Bill) and pre-deceased by sisters Theresa Sohanchyk (Richard), Barbara Bornn (Al). She has many nieces, nephews, & cousins especially Linda Tavolacci, Judy Russell (Ray) that she was very close with & shared wonderful memories. Dolly worked for NY Telephone for 30+ years retiring from Verizon. She was a member of the Pioneers Club and a Eucharistic Minister @ St. Mary’s Church in Yonkers. She continued her education after receiving her GED at WCC & Elizabeth Seton College. Dolly loved baseball especially the NY Yankees and #2 Derek Jeter; she also loved watching HGTV. After retiring from Verizon she became a Certified Real Estate Agent. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home in Bronxville, NY on Sunday, March 1st between the hours of 2pm to 7pm. A Catholic Mass will be held on Monday, March 2nd @ 10:45am at St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville, NY.
