Mayaud, Christian Georges May 28, 1954 - July 21, 2025

Christian Georges Mayaud passed away on July 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.  He had managed a prolonged illness with bravery and grace.  Born in 1954, Chris built a remarkable career as both an accomplished doctor and successful entrepreneur.  He was a gifted and sought after mentor.  His brilliance was matched only by his passion: whether caring for patients, developing new ventures or cooking extraordinary meals for his friends and family.

Chris’s interests were wide-ranging. He was a man of endless hobbies, ideas and projects. His charisma was unmistakable; he had a gift for conversation and an energy that filled the room.

Above all, Chris was a loving father to his three children: Theadora, Marina and Remy. His relationship with his former wife of 24 years, Hillary Burnett, remained one of deep friendship and enduring connection, proof of the warmth and loyalty at the heart of who he was. Together, they created a loving and lasting family. He is also survived by his sister Valerie Lieberman and he leaves behind a host of friends and colleagues who miss him dearly, and will tell his stories for years to come.

He will be remembered with pride, profound gratitude and unending love.
