Marion E. Peyton of Bronxville, died peacefully at home on Wednesday. Mrs. Peyton was an office manager for the law firm of Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper and Scinto, an intellectual property law firm in NYC
from 1971 until her retirement in 1987. She was born in Canada to George and Vera Seely Colbeck and came to New York with her family after graduating from high school in Ontario, Canada. She became the personal secretary to Howard Johnson of the restaurant and hotel business, and then on to become an office manager. She is predeceased by her husband, William David Peyton, who she married in 1966. Her parents and her brother Donald Colbeck of Brazil predeceased her. A daughter, Diane Tracey of Chester, NY and her husband Dennis, as well as two granddaughters, Alanna Bahri of Monroe, NY and Brianna Tracey of Chester, NY, survive Mrs. Peyton. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews and many loving and kind friends and neighbors. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 4 to 8PM Friday. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Bronxville on Saturday February 26 at 9:30AM.
