Vito A. Lucchesi of Bronxville NY passed away peacefully on June 6, 2019 surrounded by his loving family and friends . Beloved husband of the late Margaret Lucchesi. Loving father of Ann Marie Lucchesi ( William Meaney). Proud grandfather of Colby and Finley. He was born in Astoria and received his degree in engineering at New York University where he also obtained his masters . He enlisted into the US Army during WW2 – upon completion of officer training he was stationed at Fort Belvoir Virginia where he eventually was appointed to 1st Lieutenant. Vito’s career took off with Canada Dry as he was trilingual spending much time overseas. In 1978, Vito started his own engineering firm employing over 100 people . He retired finally in 2009 and traveled immensely with his wife, family and friends to Europe and the Caribbean … summering at their beach home on Bass River Massachusetts
Calling hours are Sunday June 8, 4-7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St Joseph’s Church is on Monday, June 9 at 9:45 am. Burial at St Johns cemetery – Brooklyn NY.
