John Thomas Pane, DDS, (Giacomo Tomaso Panebianco)on May 20, 2013, born, Feb. 12, 1921. Son of the late Nicola Panebianco and Camilla Troiano Panebianco. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Hoffman Pane. Brother of Nicholas and the late Domenic, Marco, Daniel, Father Andrew. Loving father of John Andrew, DDS (Elizabeth Bassett), Robert Daniel MD (Sally Dugan), Camille Ann, MD (Stephen Hunger MD) Dear grandfather of Greta, Joanna, Putnam, Victoria, Patrick and Marshall. John received a BS from Fordham University and his DDS from Columbia University School of Dentistry. He was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy during WW II. He was a long time member of the Bronx Rotary Club. John’s Dental practice was in the Bronx for many years and then in Tenafly N.J., retiring at the age of 86. He was a resident of Tenafly, NJ for 55 years. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial, Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe, on Friday, May 24 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at The Woodlawn Cemetery.
