Loving husband of Veronica Huvane, loving father of John, Terence and Timothy Huvane, loving father-in-law of Christina Huvane and Ashley Huvane, beloved grandfather of Catherine, John Austin, Brendan, Brieda and Keelin Huvane. Pre-deceased by his parents, Anne (nee Slattery) Huvane and John Huvane, and his brothers Rev. James Huvane and Thomas Huvane. Retired New York City Police Department. Recipient of the NYPD Medal of Honor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the NYCPBA Widows’ and Children’s Fund, Inc.
