Esther Ferrara of Yonkers passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Ferrara, loving mother of Lisa Katz and Amy Maggs. grandmother of John Katz and Justin, Schuyler and Winnie Maggs.
Esther was a proud veteran of World War II, servering in the United States Coast Guard and then went on to have a career as a ballroom dance instructor as well as a school secretary in NYC.
Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday. There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, March 2nd, 10:30am at the funeral home, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
