Funeral Service: 11:00 am. Friday, April 17th, Shrine of Memories, Ferncliff Mausoleum, Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY
Edythe Dickson, a native New Yorker, died on April 15th at the age of 87, after a life well lived. Extraordinary in every way, she drove at age 12, volunteered as a plane spotter for the Mayor’s office during WWII, was a fervent bobby soxer, skilled artist and craftswoman, women’s advocate and the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend you could wish for. She treasured her years on Wall Street in the Corporate Communications Department at JP Morgan, where she worked happily into her 70’s.There are almost no words to describe her smarts, incandescence and wit – with which she dazzled until the very end. We wish her eternal peace and will miss her every day.
Deede, Wheeler and her loving family.
