De Maria, Juanita October 29, 1925 - October 17, 2018

The angels came to take Juanita DeMaria of Yonkers and Long Island on Oct. 17, to be with her husband, Carmin, once again.  Juanita was born in Alabama, met her husband during WWII, and traveled home with him to New York to raise her family.  She will always be remembered for her giving heart and for her devotion to her family.  Juanita is survived by three daughters: Kathryn, Gloria, and Linda.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.   Calling hours at McGrath’s Funeral home, Bronxville, will be Sunday 2-6 p.m.  A service will held Monday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home followed by interment at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.  You will always be in our hearts.
