Anne T. Conway, a resident of Mt. Kisco, NY, died peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024. She was surrounded by her sister and 4 children, at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She was born on April 2, 1929 in Hamilton, Scotland to James and Veronica (McGuinness) Carroll. On October 16, 1954she married Gerald F. Conway who predeceased her on March 8, 1999. Anne is survived by her daughter Eileen and sons Kevin, Gerald and Joseph, and six beloved grandchildren, Christine, Jamie, Annie, Samantha, Carly and Brianna. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Alice McCombe and Veronica Norton, and brother Michael Carroll. Anne was predeceased by her sister Peggy and brothers Jim, Tom and Fred, and her granddaughter Kelly Anne Conway. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Anne was always the family caretaker at an early age, helping to raise her brothers after the death of her mother. She worked at the New York Telephone Company, then devoted her time to her husband and children. When her father passed away, she welcomed her youngest brother into her family. A devout Catholic, Anne was actively involved in each of the parishes where she resided. The town of Bronxville was very special to her, as she grew up there, attended Bronxville School and loved shopping in town. A wake will be held at McGrath’s Funeral Home in Bronxville, NY on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 5-7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 9:45 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
