Joseph F. Conlon, 89, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Home of the Good Shepherd in Malta, where he resided for the past three years. Born in New York, NY on April 2, 1927, he was the son of John and Delia Conlon. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Joe worked for Con Ed for many years. He was a man of great faith and his family was his pride and joy. He was predeceased by his parents John and Delia, and his siblings John, Edward, Theresa and Gerald. Joe is survived by his daughter Patricia Barno; grandchildren Elizabeth, Michael, Katherine, Emily and James; sister in law Elizabeth Conlon, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart on Friday, October 14 at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers, NY 10703.
