Gloria M. Cole, of Bronxville, NY passed peacefully at her home on May 15th, 2020. Mrs. Cole was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1923 where she graduated from Our Lady of Angels High School. In 1949 she married David G. Cole, veteran of the US Navy, who served four years in WWII. She was the daughter of Alan and Marcella Connors, sister to the late actor Chuck Connors and cousin to the late Bishop Ronald Connors.
During the 1960’s and 70’s, Mr. & Mrs. Cole were active membersof the St. Mary’s Drama Group in Yonkers and the Bronxville Players. Subsequent to David’s death in 1985, Mrs. Cole made apassionate avocation of supporting widows and widowers through the first year of their loss and after. She was an active member of the Bronxville Women’s club for 20 years where she created and oversaw a popular Broadway theater trip program.
Mrs. Cole is survived by her daughters Pamela M. Cole of State College, PA; Deirdre A. Cole of Mount Kisco, NY and grandson Dylan Cole-McManus of New York City and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services, due to the COVID-19 crisis will be for family and close friends only.

Whenever we spoke, I would always say, hi Gloria Marie, this is Gloria Ann, it was our fun way of addressing each other We had so many wonderful memories In our time together and she will be dearly missed.
