Victoria (Vicky) Carter, 64, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2019. Born in Bronxville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Diane Rivera Carter and the late J. Michael Carter. Vicky graduated from Bronxville High School and received a BA in Elementary Education from Ohio Wesleyan University. She spent the majority of her career working in the market research field. She is survived by her sister, E. Elizabeth Carter, her brother, Joseph Carter, and their children, Matthew, Adam, and Melanie Gosselin, and Samantha, Aidan, and Joshua Carter. Vicky was a very active member of Christ Church Bronxville including being a Sacristan. Calling hours at The Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, 20 Cedar Street, Bronxville, NY on Saturday, April 27th from 2-5 pm. Funeral service will be at 10 am at Christ Church on Sunday, April 28th. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Church Bronxville, 17 Sagamore Road, Bronxville, NY 10708.

April 23, 2019 at 4:51 pmI met Vicky in 1965, when we were in 6th grade at Bronxville School. We became fast friends and remained so until the year we were graduated in 1972. We then went our separate ways and would bump into each other every now and again when I would return home for Christmas and attend the Creche Service at Christ Church, where we spent time together in the Youth Group. We were also in the same Girl Scouts Troop. Vicky was a wonderful and loyal friend to me and I will never forget her.

April 27, 2019 at 2:55 pmI am so glad that I had the opportunty to sit and have dinner with Vicky at our 40th. Through out our school years I did not have all the contact and fun experiences many of the rest of our clasmates had but I did have that one day and night. After our reunion I often wished her a happy birthday and said we should getogether, I will miss being one of the few who wished her happy birthday, may she rest in peace.
