Mary Ellen O’Sullivan, 77, of Bronxville, New York passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2014. She is survived by her brother, Jack Baker and his wife Babs, her daughter, Maura O’Sullivan, and her granddaughter, Siobhan D’Angelo. She was born to William and Catherine Baker on April 30th, 1936 in Manhattan. She received a B.A. in English from the College of Mount St. Vincent in 1958 and pursued a master’s degree in English at Hunter College. She was very active in her community, volunteering her time to many organizations such as Meals on Wheels and Pregnancy Care Center. Calling hours will be held at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville, on Monday, March 10th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in her name to The Ursuline School or Pregnancy Care Center.
