Robert J. Russell passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 80. Robert (Bob) was born in New York City and spent more than 30 years raising his children with his beloved wife Joann in Crestwood, New York. Bob and Joann were blessed with sons Robert, Matthew, David, daughter Alison, and daughters-in-law Noreen and Kelly. Bob leaves behind five grandchildren Liam, Thomas (TJ), Mairead, Kyle and Colin.
Bob spent his retirement years in Spring Hill Florida married to Patricia. Through his marriage to Patricia (Pat), Bob’s family grew to include children Debbie, Ellen, Lisa Josephine, Paul and eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bob was one of five children and survived by brothers William (Bill) and Brian Russell.
Bob loved to travel and spending time with friends and family. His grandchildren will remember him for his jokes and funny stories.
The family encourages donations to the American Cancer Society or NYC Burn Center.
