Robert E. Dinan of Bronxville passed away on May 30, 2021. Bob was born in the Bronx to the late Marie and Willard Dinan. Beloved husband of Margaret Cucinell, dear brother of Thomas (Christine), Timothy (Eileen), Christopher (Gina) and his pre-deceased sister Patty, step brother to Deirdre (George) and Thomas, and treasured brother in-law to Kathy, Anthony (Ruth), Jane, Gina (Ray), Mark (Terry), Mary and sister in-law Mary Alice, and adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bob proudly served in the US Army Airborne, his most treasured accomplishment, from 1966 to 1970. Upon his honorable discharge Bob worked as a mechanic for Con Edison for 32 years. Calling hours will be at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 3:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, June 2nd. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church, Bronxville on Thursday June 3 at 9:45am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or a Veterans organization of your choice.
