Helen Virginia Andrews, née Koslow, a longtime Bronxville resident, died peacefully at her home on January 6, 2016. Upon graduation from college, Helen embarked on a distinguished career as an executive with Elizabeth Arden in New York City, from which she retired in 1986. She shared twenty-seven wonderful years of married life with her husband, William Andrews, who died in 1984. Helen was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and participated in various parish events, fundraisers and ministries, including outreach to the homebound. She was a loving and generous aunt to her many nieces and nephews, who loved her deeply. Her graciousness, wit, kindness and indomitable spirit will be sorely missed. Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 2 to 4 pm, Monday, January 18. Mass of Christian Burial St. Josephs Church, Bronxville, on Tuesday, January 19 at 10:45 am.
