Catherine “Kittie” Molloy, age 90, passed away on September 9, 2015 at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY. Kittie Leaves behind her children: John Gifford (Mrs. Michelle Thomas) Molloy of Mahopac, NY; Marian (Mrs. Edwin) Heinzinger of Mahopac, NY; Kathleen (Mrs. John) Zatkovich of Yonkers, NY; Eileen (Mrs. Anthony) Civitello of Carmel, NY; Deirdre Molloy of Raymond, NH; Robert (Mrs. Maggie Gleason) Molloy of Carmel, NY and Kerry Molloy of Ossining, NY. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Kittie was married to John Patrick Molloy on August 3, 1946 in the Bronx, eventually moving to Yonkers and then Crestwood where they raised their family. Kittie worked as a family therapist, a CASAC Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, and was especially proud of the family programs that she piloted in area hospitals. After her family, her work was her passion. Kittie had tremendous faith in the human spirit. Kittie will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between he hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Monday. Mass of Christian Burial, Annunciation Church, 470 Westchester Avenue, Crestwood, NY on Tuesday, September 15 at 11am.
