Gerald J. Woods of Stony Point, NY, formerly of Kingsbridge on June 20, 2015. Husband of Barbara, loving father of Maribridget, Jean-Marie Woods-Ray (Bryan), Kathleen Woods-Dionisio (Nik), Michael and Johnny, devoted grandfather of Grace, Jack, Rose, Bridie and Clare, dear brother of Kevin, Barry and the late Donald Woods, loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born to the late Michael (Co. Clare) and Mary (Co. Roscommon) in 1944. After graduating from St. John’s Grammar School, Kingsbridge and St. Simon Stock HS he went on to proudly serve in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After his service he had a 40 year career with the phone company as a proud member of the CWA, all awhile earning a BS Degree from Pace University. He retired to focus on his grandchildren and enjoyed his daily walks with his dogs, Dempsey and Kus, and playing ice hockey twice a week. Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial Annunciation Church, Crestwood on Wednesday, June 24 at 10am.
