My aunt Rita was fun, generous and thoughtful. I will never forget the weekend barbecues and holiday celebrations she hosted when we were growing up. I loved when we used to go on shopping trips to NYC, shopping at Conway and Macy’s and of course having lunch at Chevy’s and getting giant margaritas. We have a lot of great memories. She was my favorite aunt and was like a sister to my mom. I will miss her but celebrate her life. It was a good one and now she’s with my Dad, her sister and parents, Harry and Michael, Richard Griffin and so many others to greet her at the pearly gates ?

Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Aunt Rita was always patient and giving, and she had a great sense of humor. The world needs more people like your mom. Take comfort in all of the happy memories and good times spent together over the years. Love and condolences, Rich & Joann.

May Rita Rest in Peace along with Harry and Michael. Anyone who knew Rita and Harry knew how special they were together. Rita was a lovely, smart, quick witted mother who was a pleasure to be with. Sheila and I miss all those wonderful dinners Steve and Wendy would host at home or their club, where Rita would charm us all. Rita will be missed, however her spirit will always be with everyone she touched. Our deepest sympathies – to the whole Michaud family, from the Featherston Family
