Cecelia A. S. Reineke passed away peacefully on her 94th birthday, March 18, 2022 in Danbury, CT. Cecelia was born on March 18, 1928 to Cecelia A. Knopf and Martin S. J. Schauer of Yonkers, NY. She was married to the late Robert Reineke and is survived by her two daughters, Susan R. Breed and Barbara L. Reineke.
Cecelia graduated from Barnard College in 1949 and married in August of that same year. She received her Masters in Education from Adelphi University and taught in the Pawling, NY school system for 25 years. Cecelia enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing, and listening to classical music. Funeral arrangements are made with Fred H. McGrath & Son, Inc. in Bronxville, NY.
