Dorothea P. Baselice, 91, of Bradenton Florida, formerly of Bronxville and Mamaroneck, New York, passed away on September 24th, 2013. Dorothea was born December 21, 1921 in the Bronx, to Ralph and Louise Polcini. She attended Mt. St Ursula High School and St Elizabeth College. Dorothea married Arnold Baselice and raised her children lovingly. She worked as a bookkeeper in her husband’s business. She enjoyed the theater, gardening and playing Mah Jong.Dorothea is survived by her three children: Patricia Quintano of Chappaqua; Peter Baselice of Scarsdale; and Paul Baselice of Irvington; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Bronxville, NY on October 4th at 11:00am.
