Dimpel, Ralph T. October 10, 1932 - April 29, 2019

Ralph Thomas Dimpel, Jr. died at home on April 29, 2019.

Ralph met his wife, Barbara, on a blind date in February 1963 and it was immediately true love.   They were married a short time later in November 1963.

He was a devoted husband (Barbara), father (Karen & Brian), grandfather (Olivia, Emma, Matthew & Paul), brother and uncle.

His 63 year long career revolved around Wall Street.   He worked for many different companies and in various aspects of the industry.  Even in his retirement, he had the ticker going all day long on the TV.

He enjoyed playing golf and reading a good book but loved sitting in his backyard poolside smoking a cigar and watching his grandchildren and beloved Tootsie swimming.

Family was extremely important to Ralph and his devotion to them was unequaled.

Visiting will be on Wednesday, May 1st from 4PM to 8PM at Fred H.McGrath & Son Funeral Home in Bronxville, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, May 2nd at 9:45AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville, NY.

Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in his name.

“Life is too short to wake up with regrets.  So, love the people who treat you right.  Love the ones who don’t just because you can.  Believe everything happens for a reason.  If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.  If it changes your life, let it.  Kiss slowly.  Forgive quickly.  God never said life would be easy.  He just promised it would be worth it.”
